Jennifer works at Mangkaja Art Centre and has had an interesting life. She can speak Walmajarri and English and her work has taken her all over Western Australia.
Jennifer studied at Aboriginal Evangelical Fellowship College in Perth and Batchelor College Darwin, Where she gained a qualification as an Interpreter. She spent many years working as a mentor at Ebenezer Hostel in Perth, Where she helped young relocation may bring, as well as assisting girls who were at risk of homeless, mental illness and drugs abuse. Jennifer has also worked as an interpreter at the Royal Perth Hospital. Jennifer has been a Liaison office Contact person and also Member and Board Director for ANKAAA She now is Director and cultural adviser for Mangkaja Arts.
Jennifer completed a Certificate IV Bilingual Work at Kimberley TAFE in 2011 and Graduated from the ANKAAA Art Worker Extension Program in 2012. She also did an Introduction to Governance training through ORIC in 2012. In 2013 Jennifer was selected and participated in the prestigious National Gallery of Australia – Wesfarmers Arts Indigenous Leadership Program, participating in lectures and group work with National gallery of Australia staff arts and business industry professionals
