We are pleased to annouce that Mangkaja Artist, Jukuja Dolly Snell, received Highly Commended in the Painting category for her work 'Kurtal'.
"This is my country where I was born. Lau Lau (Dolly’s father) had been looking all around for water out in the desert. He came across a big tree with little ones and grass all around. He found that big water that had filled up after the rain. There is a spring here too, which is a permanent waterhole and has water all year round."
