"ReDot Fine Art Gallery is extremely honoured to welcome back one of Australia’s most exciting Indigenous community art centres and one of the country’s most renowned living artists, in two concurring exhibitions that celebrate the works and lives of the artists of Mangkaja Arts Resource Agency.
An exhibition that investigates themes of death and life, these works on tin are an exciting extension of the work of The Prince. Included in the exhibition are also beautiful coolamons featured in the Western Australian Indigenous Art Awards.
Gimme Shelter is an incredible survey exhibition from the artists of Fitzroy Valley. The exhibition showcases work from Mangkaja studio across the generations and styles.
This April will see the exhibition of a new set of prints created by Mangkaja artists with Basil Hall, print maker in Fitzroy Crossing last year at Nomad Art in Parap. The show Everybody’s Prints is a vibrant show of new works referencing the seminal drypoints of previous editions and the long history of Mangkaja printmaking.
